Is-sinjal għal TONN TAŻ-ŻEJT għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ Q wiesgħa u jitqiegħdu quddiem bil-pala ta’ id tħares lejn il-pala tal-id l-oħra u bis-swaba’ l-kbar u l-werrejja fuq xulxin biex jagħmlu l-forma ta’ landa żgħira. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal ĦUT b’id waħda forma ta’ 5 dritta bil-pala tħares lejn ġewwa u bis-swaba’ jħarsu lejn il-ġenb. L-id timxi lejn il-ġenb ġieli bi ftit skossi żgħar fil-moviment.
The sign for TUNA has two parts. (i) First, the hands take the shape of a wide Q and are placed at the front with palms facing and with the index fingers and thumbs over each other to form the shape of a small tin. (ii) Then the sign for FISH is made with one hand that takes the shape of straight 5 with palm facing inwards and fingers pointing to the side. The hand moves towards the side sometimes with jerkiness in the movement.
